The Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County who are living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.

Salary: "Please note that the job posting rate for this position is $63,677.64- $70,654.00 Yr., the salary offered will follow the starting salary guidelines which are typically made at or near the minimum of the salary range. However, a salary may be negotiated above the minimum range depending on applicable years of experience and qualifications."

Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weekly

General Description

Under supervision of the Director of Access Services, the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Supervisor completes administrative and managerial responsibilities for the unit that include provision of crisis services in the community, clinical oversight of program and supervision to staff assigned to program, clinical oversight of the Pathways Crisis Respite, collaborate closely with local law enforcement to train, guide, and leave CIT services and maintain a positive budget variance. CIT Supervisor is responsible for auditing clinical files for quality assurance and maintaining compliance with Joint Commission, Medicaid, OPM, and HHSC standards. In addition, provides assists Pathway Crisis Respite Supervisor in the development and training of case management staff and provide case consultation for consumer care. Services also include individual counseling and psychosocial rehabilitation services, as needed. Must be available for consultation after hours. Must have reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in the administration of a program relevant to assignment, counseling, and/or psychological work.  Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a master's degree in psychology or related degree in social, behavioral, or human services. Must be licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Texas. Minimum of an LPHA with two years of experience. Experience in social and rehabilitative work.  Must have a Valid Texas Driver's license and good driving record.

PREFERRED: Bilingual. Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy. Have knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical supervision, management, and of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the program area. Good computer skills-ability to enter information into electronic medical records and use of Microsoft Office products.

3.) Ability to establish goals and objectives, to devise solutions to administrative problems, to assist in the development and evaluation of administrative policies and procedures, to prepare concise reports, to interpret regulations, to communicate effectively, and to assign and supervise the work of others;

4.) Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of professionals and non-professionals;

5.) Ability to assist in training of rehabilitative skills for staff to provide group and individual crisis skills training for community integration;

6.) Knowledge of client advocacy.

7.) Ability to organize work efficiently and prioritize schedule.

8.) Good computer skills - ability to enter information into electronic medical record and use Microsoft Office products
