The Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County who are living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.

Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weekly
General Description
Under supervision of the Deputy CEO, performs highly advanced (senior level) managerial administration work for Intellectual Disabilities Service area. Responsible for administering the following services and programs: Intake/Assessment, Continuity of Care, GR, CFC, TxHmL, HCS, & PASRR Service Coordination, Respite/Training & Support; Advance Employment Services including internal services, state (Work Quest) and federal (Source America/AbilityOne) contracts, Supported Employment (including Work Quest), and the Medicaid waiver programs (HCS, TxHmL); and PASRR PSS services. Work involves establishing program goals and objectives; developing program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules and regulations in compliance with HHCS, The Joint Commission, Workforce, AbilityOne, TIBH Work Quest, Medicaid and otyour rules; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; evaluating program activities; developing and evaluating budget requests, including required financial reports; and coordinating program activities. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Contract manager for independent contractors. Building manager responsibilities for buildings supervised. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. In the course of being employed, understands and implements trauma informed care practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a business or human service field, plus 5 years of work experience in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, or coordinating activities in a related program.
Must have reliable transportation. May use personal vehicle to conduct business. Must have a valid Texas driver's license at all times, liability insurance and a good driving record.
Preferred: 5 or more years experience in a local IDD authority setting.
