The Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County who are living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.

Hourly Wage: $14.75
Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weekly
General Description
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, is responsible for performing moderately complex medical aide work. Assist nurses in obtaining reports and records from medical records. Performs nursing functions as appropriate. Assists medical staff in performing procedures. Performs related work as assigned and trained.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing. Valid Texas CMA License. Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of patient
care. Skill in the use of equipment used in patient care. Ability to plan,
evaluates, and provides patient care.
