Salary: "Please note that the job posting rate for this position is $65,229.39 to $72,320.95, the salary offered will follow the starting salary guidelines which are typically made at or near the minimum of the salary range. However, a salary may be negotiated above the minimum range depending on applicable years of experience and qualifications."

General Description
Under supervision of the Intake Supervisor, Jail CoC Program Supervisor will oversee the Jail Continuity of Care Liaison Program, ensuring effective service delivery to justice-involved individuals with serious mental illness. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and management to enhance community stability and reduce recidivism. The Jail CoC program supervisor is responsible for ensuring staff activities designed to ensure an individual is provided uninterrupted services during a transition into or out of a correctional institution and that assist the individual and the individual's legally authorized representative (LAR) in identifying, accessing, and coordinating LMHA services and other appropriate services and supports in the community needed by the individual. Ensures program complies with all applicable statutes and rules, including those referenced in this Statement of Work and Information Item T, Jail Match Report and Jail Diversion Standards. Program provides screening and assessment, identifying the medical, psychiatric, or psychological care or treatment needs and educational or rehabilitative service needs of an offender with medical or mental impairments; developing a plan for meeting the treatment, care, and service needs of the offender with medical or mental impairments; and coordinating the provision of treatment, care, or services between the various agencies that provide treatment, care, or services such that they may continue to be provided to the offender at the time of arrest, while charges are pending, during post-adjudication or post- conviction custody or criminal justice supervision, and for pretrial diversion. Ensure program adheres to established training and service delivery standards including the use of evidenced based practice curricula, establishes and maintains open communication with the State mental Health Facilities, District Attorney's office, communicates directly with in-house Jail personnel, Crisis Intervention Team Members, Intake Department, and Mobile Crisis Outreach team members to ensure individuals served gain access to psychiatric, substance abuse, medical, social, vocational, and other services and supports.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in psychological work. A minimum of a Masters or advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field including, but not limited to, psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, and education. Must be licensed in the state of Texas or a reciprocity state as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. 2 or more years' experience in behavioral health services. Prefer 1 year in supervisory experience.
Must have reliable transportation. May use personal vehicle to conduct business. Must have a valid driver's license at all times, liability insurance and a good driving record.
